Skeptically Challenged is available for free to anyone with an internet connection and I intend for it to stay that way.
If you want to help me make the show better there are a few things you can do;
Firstly, please leave a review of the show on iTunes, Stitcher, or any other platform in which you can review the show, tell your friends about the show, talk about it on forums and Facebook groups. Getting the message of critical thinking out there is the most important part of the show.
Send me an email, YouTube comment or Facebook comment with your honest feedback, if I was wrong I would like to know about it, If you disagree with something I have said I would be keen to discuss it and if there are parts of the show you don’t like or that you love tell me about it, these things all help me improve the show.
Of course producing Skeptically Challenged isn’t free, my cameras, lighting, microphones, software, computers, hosting and podcast distribution all cost money, some on a regular basis. Furthermore there are plenty of projects I would like to do which I simply cannot afford out of my own pocket, which may involve time off work, travel and other costs. One of the projects I am considering doing are skeptical investigation documentaries in which I might have something like acupuncture, ask some questions of the practitioners and talk to some experts about the evidence behind the claims, sort of like a cross between Skeptoid and Oh No! Ross and Carrie!
If you want to help with the costs of producing the show or turn my other project ideas into a reality consider becoming a patron at my Patreon Page, you can start at just $1 per show, unlike monthly subscriptions you only pay when content is released! My YouTube channel has advertisements as part of the videos, if you visit those sponsors you help me raise money for the show with no cost to yourself other than being taken to the webpage of the latest Honda model or Ben Stiller movie, this also helps boost the probability of YouTube promoting my page. You can also donate directly through PayPal either in lump sums or through monthly payments for which I cannot thank you enough for your generosity.
However you can help the show, I want you to know it is truly appreciated!
